Harold Higgins, being born on Friday the Thirteenth, had the hand of Fate place its bony hand against his throat, making him possessor of a fearsome plague to man known as the curse of “13”. Because of it, a terrible tragedy happened to him every 13. day of the month.
He wanted to get rid of the curse, and thought that becoming a superhero, carrying the number 13 would do the trick. And so he became a superhero.
Later he got a sidekick, Jinx.
