Henry was conceived during an affair between Rachel Sutter and Zander Rice, a man who her husband thought of like a son. When she found out she was pregnant Zander told her to “tell [her husband] it’s his.” She did and Henry was raised as the son of Martin and Rachel Sutter. He appeared to have a happy childhood until Zander Rice, his biological father, in a quest for power ordered the assassin X-23 to kill him and his parents. She came and killed both of his parents. When she found him hiding in a closet she ended up just cutting the head off his Spiderman action figure and letting him live. He was later found in the woods outside his flaming house.
