His life is chronicled through the three Toy Story movies. In the first one he is shown to be about 7 while in the second one he is shown to be about 8 and in the third one he is heading off to college. He is shown to have a very big imagination fo someone his age even though he stops playing with the toys as he grows older. He is also shown to be good at art due to a certificate on his wall. He is also apparently good at softball thanks to his little league trophy.
