Origin

Originally created by Bludgeon to be the 2nd Generation of Decepticon warriors, he was left unactivated. Using the Creation Matrix, Megatron brought him to life.

Creation

Jolt was created for Marvel Comics’ Transformers: Generation 2 issue #7 by writer Simon Furman and editors Tom DeFalco and Rob Tokar.

Jolt was designed and constructed by Bludgeon as a new wave of warriors. Bludgeon returned to Earth to draw Optimus Prime back and steal the Creation Matrix, in order to bring life to his soldiers. Bludgeon was decapitated by Megatron, but his plan was sound, and Megatron carried it through.

Their first mission was to raid the moon of Tykos for a supply of the metal-reinforcing gas, Rheanimum. After losing to the second generation Cybertronians, the Decepticons joined forces with the Autobots against their common foe. Jolt fought alongside friend and foe against the Cybertronians and the Swarm.

Powers & Weaknesses

Jolt is a proficient swordsman and can use them to slice his enemies in two.

Jolt is a Generation 2 Transformer created on Earth by using Human, Nebulan and Cybertronian technology. Jolt and his partner Sizzle joined the Decepticons when the Transformers began choosing sides. He was at the Hadron Collider in Switzerland when Clench and Sky-Byte took over the complex. The Autobots Electro and Volt fought with Jolt and Sizzle for control of the Collider’s systems. When forestonite gas spread throughout the complex it mutated them into more powerful forms.

In the 2007 film franchise, Jolt transforms into a Alfa Romeo Mito. He landed in San Francisco with Swindle. In the 2008 toy line however he was a Bugatti EB 15.4 Veyron.
