Jommeke is the main character in the Belgian comic strip series Jommeke, created by Jef Nys.
Jommeke is a smart and adventurous ten year old boy, easily recognizable by his peculiar blonde hair style (which somewhat resembles a straw roof).
In his earliest albums, Jommeke was portrait as a 5 year old boy, but creator Jef Nys decided turned age Jommeke so he could appear in more adventurous stories.
Jommeke his best friends are his pet parrot Flip and Filiberke.
