Major Story Arcs

Kenny first appears to Tim Hunter as a small homeless man in the snow. Tamlin describes him to Tim as “mad as a March Hare, but…a good man.”

Tamlin motivates Tim to use his magic purposefully for among the first times, to protect Kenny from the snow. After some effort, he does. Kenny is appreciative and gives Tamlin some advice.

Later, after Tamlin leaves, Kenny shows up again and tells Tim that Tamlin is Tim’s father.

Much later, he tails Tim as Tim explores the wider world. He keeps The Wobbly from trying to collect Tim by convincing it that Tim does not match what he normally hunts.

He then talks with the Punk Waitress about Tim a bit, and mentions that he was once imprisoned in a dark place. He now prefers the light and places without walls.

Tim has been sick, and the animals in his tattoo are battling. Kenny watches over him as this happens. He gives Tim some more advice about his tattoos and explains that they are maps. Then he gives Tim a ticket to anywhere he wants to go in the world.
