Lala was Barlonius’ jealously possessive concubine. She betrayed her master, and sought to free Conan, if only he would leave, and never tell Lady Annia of her husband’s location. She seemed to have genuine affection for Barlonius, but indirectly caused his death, seeking to assuage her broken heart by stealing the legendary giant pearl of Khengor. Â Â
