In a possible future shown to Lois Lane and Superman by Mr Mxyzptlk, Lara Lane Kent is Supergirl; their super-powered daughter. While hesitant to allow his only child to be a superhero, Superman soon comes to embrace Lara as his sidekick and trains her in the use of her Kryptonian abilities.
