Anton Geist was the scientist that caused the future citizens of “ Sub-Diego” to be able to breathe underwater. He was being tracked by a mysterious organization, but Aquaman faked his death so he could stay in Sub-Diego and continue to help as a scientist. He also altered a chimpanzee named Bingo to be able to breathe underwater, as well as mutate Alonzo Malrey into his current form so Malrey could continue work as a police officer. Geist was later turn into an OMAC and killed in a battle with Aquaman and his son Koryak. Bingo was there to “say goodbye” to his dead body before it was found by passerbys.
