Origin
Member of an amphibious alien species that go through five stages of evolution in their lifetimes, Lok Neboora was in his fourth stage when he was selected by a power ring to join the
Green Lantern Corps. He was one of many new recruited joining the newly rebuilt Green Lantern Corps, which had been inactive for years since its destruction at the hands of Hal Jordan and Parallax.
It was implied that Lok’s fifth evolutionary stage would come with a change in personality as well, meaning that he would possibly not choose to remain a Green Lantern when the time comes.
Creation
Lok Neboora was created by Geoff Johns and Ethan Van Sciver as one of several new Green Lanterns who did not yet know of Hal Jordan’s dark past.

During Lok Neboora’s training period as a new Green Lantern recruit, the Spider Guild launched an attack on Oa, trying to take advantage of a vulnerable new Green Lantern Corps. Lok, despite not even earning his badge yet, was one of many Green Lanterns to take to Oa’s defense and fight off the invading forces.
Sinestro Corps War

Over a year later, Lok was a fully trained and active Green Lantern along with his sector partner Barreer Wot. He fought on the front lines of the Sinestro Corps War defending the planet Earth. He survived when many other Green Lanterns did not.
Agent Orange

Lok was a member of the team of Green Lanterns that escorted the Guardians into the Vega System to confront Larfleeze on Okaara. He was one of the first Green Lanterns to witness and battle the Orange Lantern Corps

In War of The Green Lanterns the guardians have dispatched a team of Green Lanterns lead bySalaak to recover Hal Jordan for treason against universe and the Green Lantern Corps. Salaak was given was permission to hand select his team and bring Hal Jordan back to Oa. He chose :B’dg(Sector 1014), Turytt (Sector 786), Stel (Sector 2937), Norchavius (Sector 26), Meadlux (Sector 1776), Lok Neboora , and his sector partner Barreer Wot (3814).
