Lou-Ann sang at a nightclub where Rick Jones was also performing. The two became fast friends and then lovers. During the Thanos’s quest for the Cosmic Cube, Lou-Ann was mentally controlled by Thanos in order to capture Rick Jones/Captain Marvel. She also alerted the Avengers about Thanos and what he would do to Earth if he got the Cosmic Cube. After Thanos was defeated by Mar-Vell and the Avengers, Jones returned to Lou-Ann and broke up with her. Lou-Ann Savannah was in attendance for the passing of Mar-Vell.

Lou Ann was created by Gerry Conway and Wayne Boring in 1972 and first appeared in Captain Marvel # 22.
