Creation
Loyd Lloyd (ロイド・ロイド, Roido Roido) is an antagonist of the BLEACH series that was created by Tite Kubo, It first began serialization Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump in August 2001. He was first introduced during the The Thousand-Year Blood War Arc that began in Volume 55.
He first appeared in BLEACH Volume 57 CH. 502 “Falling Sakura“.
Character Evolution
Major Story Arcs
Loyd first appears during the Thousand-Year Blood War Arc, where he participates in the Vandenreich’s invasion of Soul Society. Loyd confronts Captain Kenpachi Zaraki alongside his fellow Stern Ritter members Berenice Gabrielli and Jerome Guizbatt. Loyd uses his powers to match Kenpachi’s strength exactly, but he is still overwhelmed by the Captain and is ultimately killed in battle.
Powers & Abilities
Physical Imitation – Loyd possesses the ability to imitate another’s entire physical appearance and is capable of reverting to his own appearance at will.
Power Imitation – Loyd automatically replicates the physical strength and special abilities of whomever he physically imitates, adding further credence to his imitations.
