Magus

Creation

Magus was created by Green Arrow writer Jeff Lemire and artist Andrea Sorrentino.

Origin

An enigmatic character that seems claims to be an immortal. Not much is know about him. It is still uncertain whether Magus is his name or a title. At first he told Green Arrow that the 7th clan of the Outsiders was long lost forgotten, but he was later revealed to be the leader(or possibly only member) of the mask clan.

Major Story Arcs

The Kill Machine

The Magus sporadically appears to aid and direct Oliver. He later reveals to Ollie his fathers past and his connection to the mysterious Outsiders.

The Outsiders War

Butcher and the Magus appear to be consolidating all the rogue clans in preparation for war with the Outsiders.

Powers and Abilities

Immortal – Claims to be an immortal and survived lethal attacks disguised as Green Arrow, faking his death

Shape Shifting – Recently demonstrated the ability to change his shape and clothes.

Teleport – Appears and disappears on a whim.

Unarmed Combat – Displays enough proficiency for unarmed combat.

Gas Creation – During the Outsiders War he created a smoke that seemed to confuse or knock out enemies
