Brief History
When the Shi’ar Majestrix Lilandra Neramani came under the influence of Cassandra Nova, The Imperial Guard were charged with capturing Nova’s enemies The X-Men. Arc led a strike team against Cyclops and Xorn, successfully capturing both heroes and returning them to an orbiting Shi’ar super-destroyer. The imprisoned X-Men soon escaped and in the ensuing battle Arc ended up battling Beast, but was quickly defeated.Â
When Lilandra’s rule of the Shi’ar was overthrown by Vulcan, Arc joined his fellow Imperial Guard members in abandoning their rightful Majestrix to serve the usurper. During Vulcan’s rule, Arc was involved in the assault on the Kree and Inhumans during Ronan the Accuser and Crystal‘s wedding. Following Vulcan’s death, Arc remains a member of the Guard, and recently participated in a rescue mission within the space-time tear known as The Fault.
