Ecallaw is the last of the Intergalactic Alliance. He trained Maxam and Zhang from the time they were boys to go on a mission through time to save the universe from the evil Magus. Ultimately, Ecallaw chose Maxam to go back and kill Adam Warlock before he could change into the Magus.
