Miko was introduced into the DCnU, as one of many new characters. She was created by George Pérez.

Miko first appeared as the old Daily Planet building was being demolished. She works for the Daily Planet along with Jimmy Olsen. She was also with Jimmy when Superman appeared to save Metropolis from a mysterious creature.
