Miri was a Water Nymph. She had light blue skin and white hair. Her natural enviroment was the sea. She was also able to live on the surface and breathe air. Her voice puts men in a trance. The victims drive themselves and their ships towards her location, often to their doom. Conan assumed she was a siren. When bound with silver chains Miri was helpless and onliged to obey her captor in order to survive.
Miri was captured by Kezan Val, captain of a pirate ship. He bound her with a silver chain and then offered her a deal. If Miri succesfully drew twenty ships to crash on a rocky seacoast , allowing Val and his crew to plunder them, the pirate would release her. The twentieth ship was captained by Conan who survived the crash by swimming to the coast. There he found Miri and Kezan Val arguing. She had fullfiled her part of the deal and demanded her release. But Val had grown greedy and had no intention of releasing her.
Conan was captured and placed with other survivors of the shipwrecks. Val intented to sell them as slaves at a later point. However closed a new deal with Conan, releasing him in exchange for her own release. Conan killed Val and fullfiled his part of the bargain.
