Origin
Rex Dexter and his wife built a spaceship in 1939 and set off for Mars. The two crashed there and lost contact with the people of earth. They did however had a son named Rex Dexter and lived on Mars. Finally in the year 2000 Rex and his father finish repairing the ship and Rex heads for earth only to crash into another spaceship headed to earth.
