The human girl called Moray had crashed along with her parents in the middle of the ocean. She survived and would be raised by a school of dolphins. Moray awakened Manta and they would unite forces to protect the Seas from exploitation. Manta first debuted in the Saturday morning cartoon Tarzan and the Super 7 during the 1970's.
