Mr. Beeba

The  Scholarly Mr Beeba is an educated citizen of Smoo and a trusted subject of the King. So much so that he recommended by the King himself to accompany Akiko on her quest. He may be lacking in courage but his scientific insight often leads the friends down the right path and saves them from danger on many occasions.

Creation 

Created by Mark Crilley who writes and illustrates all his own work and her story published by Sirius Entertainment. While Akiko as a comic covers 52 issues her adventures moved into the realm of the novel with several stories carrying on her odyssey in that format. Mr. Beeba is the scholar of the group and he is the brains of the group making sure their choices are the right ones and rarely charges in blindly.

Character Evolution

Throught the run Mr. Beeba remains a non confrontational character that preferes to use him brain than brawn. Towards the end of the run he does certain show he has learned a few things from Spuckler and comes out of his shell to defend his rival and friend.  

Major Story Arcs 

In her first adventure Akiko is whipped off to Planet Smoo to rescue the missing prince. She meets her crew of intrepid helpers: Spuckler, Mr. Beeba, Gax and Poog journey around Smoo to find their target.  
  
In an epic journey they travel Smoo in order to rescue the young prince from the evil Empress Alia Rellapor.
      
After only a short break Akiko aids him on his quest for Bornstone’s Elixir. 
       
Later she and Mr. Beeba help defend Spuckler’s family home from destruction.
