Abilities

 
Mutagen possess the ability to adapt and gain powers based on the animal world during battle. His abilities tend to manifest as a reflexive subconscious response to attacks on his person.
 
so far he has demonstrated certain abilities growing spikes on his chin to prevent from being punched by Spiderman 2099, harden exoskeleton as response to blunt trauma.  Gliding ability after jumping out of a window multiple stories up, insulation to prevent electrocution, finger claws to tear out of web cocoon as well a slippery surface on his body to prevent webbing from sticking to him and sliding off. He also appears to possess a healing factor having once been shot without discomfort and having no visible wound soon after.
 
Mutagen’s genetic supremacy Eugenics view  was  based on Friedrich Nietzche’s quote:
