Major Story Arcs
Having scoured Peru with his partner Cliff Barron, Neal finally finds Chicalmo. The men are immediately beset by locals and taken captive. They await execution for many days. They are finally taken to the top of a temple. Cliff watches as Neal is stabbed over and over again by the young flame goddess. Neal is surprised to see that he has received no harm. The flame goddess convinces the people that Neal and Cliff must be gods and a feast must be thrown to appease them. They are taken to the flame goddesses room where she reveals that she is Neal’s sister Shelia. It is presumed that the three stay in Chicalmo.
