Newton Gearloose is the nephew of Gyro Gearloose and an inventor in his own right. He was created by Vic Lockman (writer) and Phil DeLara (artist) in 1965 for a story printed in “Topolino (libretto) #507. He was introduced to American comic books in 1966.
