Owens first met Tim Drake when he, Z, and Pru ambushed Tim Drake while he was out of costume in his hotel bedroom. Owens mostly used long range weapons against Tim. He seemed to be under the control of Z.

Owens was especially gifted with long range weapons. He was a spectacular sniper.
