Origin
Nothing is known about Papercut’s origins. He was presumably born with his metahuman abilities. He at some point turned to a life of crime, emboldened by the absence of the Rogues from Central City.
Creation
Papercut was created by Joshua Williamson and Felipe Watanabe. He made his first appearance in The Flash #10.
Major Story Arcs
The Flash
Operating as a mugger in a park, Papercut is confronted first by Kid Flash, whom he nearly defeats, and then by the Flash, by whom he is defeated. He is taken by the Flash to Iron Heights, and imprisoned there. He becomes increasingly vocal about the time of the Rogues having passed, and attempts to install himself as the new criminal mastermind in Central City. He is confronted and beaten by Captain Cold when the latter is returned to prison.
Powers and Abilities
Papercut has the ability to control wood and wood-based products. He finds it painful to control wood on a grand scale, and typically uses his powers to create razor-sharp paper weapons. He is pretty good at origami.
Weapons and Equipment
Papercut often carries paper which he folds into stars and sharpens with his powers into weaponry.
