Origin
Joshua Michael Allen was a delivery boy, who lived in Metropolis. During this time, the alien invasion of Metropolis (Superman #20-23 and Superman 23.4) prompted him to come into contact with an alien being that attacked him. He was knocked out when he stabbed the alien with an electric telephone line. He awoke in hospital with a broken leg and had multiple voicemails urging him to go to STAR Labs to scan for any remaining alien viruses. During the scan, his altered alien physiology caused an explosion which killed the doctors and transformed him into the Parasite!
Powers and Abilities
Like the original Parasite, he has the power to absorb life from other living things.
