Origin
Professor Barabas is an inventor. Sometimes his inventions are the beginning of a new adventure for Suske and Wiske. He invented, among others, a time machine called ‘Teletijdmachine‘, a jeep that runs on normal food called ‘Vitamitje‘, the submarine-like Terranef which travels underground instead of underwater, a real submarine called IJzeren Schelvis and another mobile time machine, called Tijmtrotter.
For a while, he had a secretary called Sylvia.
Barabas’ family
His greatgrandfather, seen in Suske en Wiske #208 – De Hellegathonden, was also called Barabas.
