Recluse was first seen when Tim Drake and the League of Assassins set up three traps for the council of spiders. He appeared at the one where Tim Drake, Pru, and many other assassins were. He managed to kill all of the assassins except for Pru and Tim. Before he was captured by Tim. Tim noted that when the other assassins ambushed him that he had the look of a man who’s night had just got much better.
