Rook is a resident of the magical land called Terrenos. He is allied with the Gideons (winged children) and is attempting to overthrow God King Lore. He has Michael Rhodes brought to him as soon as he is found in Terrenos and serves as his trainer and guide.
Rook explains to Michael that he is destined to be the champion who will defeat God King Lore and free the citizens from slavery.
