Sam Westman is the owner and founder of the Westman Construction Company something he built from nothing after his wife died. He created the company to support his son Jerry Westman but soon was more occupied with the company than with spending time with his son. Eventually the two were at odds when his company was hired to demolish a park in favor of some factories. The construction was halted by a group of teenage protesters and Namor the Sub-Mariner who helped change Sam’s mind.
