Major Story Arcs
In Charlie’s dream about a visit to the moon, Second Helping is Chief Hannibal the Cannibal’s first mate. The two hunt the Man In the Moon but run into Charlie and Mortimer Snerd. The Cannibals try to eat the boys but the Man In the Moon saves them with his gun. The Cannibals flee but stick close enough to follow the boys to the Man In the Moon’s secret hideout. They send a message into the hideout that states that they will wait until the boys are forced to come out. They are surprised to see, however, Mortimer marching out so fearlessly with a gun. Not realizing that the boy is merely sleepwalking, nor realizing that the gun is empty, the cannibals flee. They do, however, take Charlie’s rocket ship, marooning the boys to the Moon.
