Riki Kimura became an orphan when his family was lost at sea by an army of monsters. He was rescued by a group called the Wavemen, an eighter person Japanese version of the Sea Devils, and was adopted by their leader, Senior Waveman Otomo. Otomo died while saving Riki’s life. Many years later, Riki becomes a well trained superhero, got married to Otomo’s genius daughter and have a daughter together ( Kim/Shiny Happy Aquazon of the Super Young Team), and has left the Wavemen to join Big Science Action. He now has changed his title from Junior Waveman to Senior Waveman.
