History
Sidestep, being one of the few mutants left of the Earth’s population, decided to ally herself with a seemingly harsh but benevolent mutant by the name of Rancor. She was a fifth-generation descendant of James Howlett (Wolverine) and unlike him, she decided to embrace the bestial qualities she gained with her mutation. Sidestep joined alongside Rancor and assisted her and the other mutants they worked with in many cases. She may be on the wrong side of the mutant agenda, but she has been seen questioning Rancor’s ways.
Creation
Side-Step was created by Jim Valentino in 1991 and first appeared in Guardians Of The Galaxy # 8.
