Skim is a fellow criminal like Parker. Skim would talk Parker into a heist that goes bad, where Parker believes Skim dead. Skim being one of the few to see Parker’s “new face” is used as a “finger” to point out Parker for the Outfit. Parker would not appreciated that betrayal and kill Skim in a hotel room.
