Origin
Little is known about Skippy. He was taken on as an apprentice and sidekick by the Horseman of the Apocalypse Death. He and his compatriots in the Four Mopeds of the Apocalypse settled in Delta City, where they spent decades awaiting the signs of the coming apocalypse.
Creation
Skippy was created by Keith Giffen, Tom Bierbaum, and Mary Bierbaum. He made his first appearance in The Heckler #5. He is roughly analogous to the biblical figure of Death.
Major Story Arcs
The Heckler
Skippy observes the signs of the End Times that begin cropping up in Delta. After conferring with the Horsemen of the Apocalypse, all of whom have accidentally come down with whooping cough he reunites with the other members of the Four Mopeds, who have observed similar signs. Together, they perform the ritual to summon the nether god Flying Buttress.
Powers and Abilities
Skippy appears to be a minor angel or deity of uncertain power or provenance. He may be immortal.
