Skwaul is part of a team of bounty hunters, along with Amon Hakk and Getorix, that chase Vril Dox to Earth after he was ousted from L.E.G.I.O.N. They were eventually captured by a Khund ship and held prisoner under the order of their Durlan captain, Ciji. When offering them a deal to cooperate in locating Vril Dox, Ciji becomes irritated with Skwaul’s abilities and quickly kills him.
