Origin
At one point, Snake Eyes became one of Two-Face’s henchmen. Snake Eyes appears to have a deformity which causes his eyes to appear as crosses, hence his name.

Snake Eyes accompanies Two-Face to the Gotham Museum, where Dent plans to steal a giant jade yin-yang. Snake Eyes attempts to murder an employee of the museum but is stopped when Batman arrives and throws multiple Batarangs at his hand, causing him to drop his gun.
