He seems cautious about leaving Mystery Island and is lightly mocked for it by his friends. Despite seeming to be the only plant eater of the group, he is shown to both arrogant and savage as he lashes out at the humans impeding his path. A genius who was stifled by his people, he believes that he is going to create a perfect society dominated by dinosaurs. Kid Flash finds him dosing lizards and other reptiles in a mutagenic mist that turns them into dinosauroid creatures. Dac reveals that they had originally left the island to accomplish Steg’s plan, but Teryx sides against them. They distract Teryx and Kid Flash with a false waterskin supposedly filled with mutagenic mist and use that chance to make their escape into the sewers.
