After that he was sent on a variety of cases dealing with everything from counterfeiters to saboteurs while taking his orders from and reporting directly to FBI director Hoover.
History
Allegedly based on real cases undertaken by the FBI, Parents Magazine must have at least had their approval to produce this series; otherwise they would not have been allowed to have used J. Edgar Hoover as not just a name or occasional image, but as a regular series character.
