Sven, Harlan, and their older brother Eric were members of the mutant supremecist team devoted to Magneto’s theory that mutants should be the dominant species on the planet, the Acolytes. Soon after he was introduced, Eric was killed in battle. Sven & Harlan managed to survive this battle, along with the destruction of Asteroid M, and then (years later) Cassandra Nova‘s Sentinel army Genoshan genocide. It is presumed, though not confirmed, that they both lost their powers along with thousands of others following Decimation.
