Tefral the Surveyor is a member of the Celestials. Nigh omnipotent and mysterious space gods that are responsible for Earths Eternals and Deviants races. Visiting the planet Earth every few thousand years in groups collectively known as Hosts to observe, analyze, judge or pass judgment on Earth and its species. Tefral the Surveyor appears during the Fourth host and is tasked as a Surveyor, which essentially means on planets visited by the Celestials he observes, and accurately determines terrestrial points, relative to each other, mapping and constructing detailed plans of Earth. Tefral the Surveyor appears as a purple hued, armored 2000 foot tall celestial giant.Â

Creation
The Celestial Tefral the Surveyor is a Marvel comics book character created by Jack Kirby first appearing in The Eternals #7 released in 1977. The Celestials as a concept bare some resemblance to the real life author Erich von Däniken projections of giant space gods who have influenced and directed the progress of humanity, with clues and signs of their involvement visible in patterns and monuments from ancient civilizations.  Â
Powers and Abilities
Tefral the Surveyor like many of the Celestials is an extremely powerful god like being, possessing incalculable levels of strength, durability, speed and energy projection. Enormous in stature, up to 2000 feet in height, they possess the ability to manipulate reality, control vast levels of energy and rearrange matter up to an unknown degree They can teleport themselves or vast objects across vast distances. If harmed they will regenerate near instantaneously. Capable of withstanding earth shattering blows and greater Celestials also possess the ability to generate energy blasts that are of an earth shattering level and higher. There is an unknown connection between the Celestials and Hyperspace. It is possible that Hyperspace is the origin of the Celestials vast powers. Tefral the Surveyor is the Celestials Surveyor.Â
