The Nagel family were at odds with the Vasco family for many years following a powerplay that resulted in a loss of life. The Minutemen settled the dispute but the Nagels still felt slighted, and did not trust the Vascos. Axel was involved with Graves’ elevation from Minuteman to leader, but an unexplained mistake from Axel’s past resulted in him taking his own life. Javier Vasco has promised Axel his House will continue, even though others have fallen.
