Thana was created by the writer Frank J. Barbiere and artist Francesco Manna.
Major Story Arcs
Thana was Dejah Thoris’ servant until Dejah was accused of treason and fraud, and was also accused of being involved with Mors Kajak’s disappearance. Dejah was then arrested, and while imprisoned, she was attacked by an assassin sent by Councilman Valoris, but was able to render him unconscious shortly before Thana arrived to help Dejah escape. Thana knew of someone who could help and the two went on their way to see him. Once they arrived, Orion helped Dejah escape Helium and begin a new life, meaning she could not be in contact with Thana, Orion or her husband, John.
