Creative Concept
The Owl debuted in a back-up short story in Batman #256, where Bruce Wayne wasn’t inspired by a bat to became a crime fighter, but by an owl. Grant Morrison used this concept for the Batman analogue of earth 35 and member of the Super-Americans.
The Owl is also an analogue to Awesome Comics‘ Professor Night.
