The Voyager is a sort of cosmic law enforcer, who travel the space for serve the Law and the Equilibrium. He have appeared in two form: a giant humanoid insect with giant wings while traveling in space and a more human form with cloack and energy spear when on earth, in human host.
On the earth is human host is a young boy, son of a Magistrato [italian legale role corresponding to State/District Attorney in U.S.A.] killed by Mafia thug with a gunshot to the head some moments before The Voyager reach the Earth. The Voyager was able to sense some similarity between itslef and the dead boy, being both “Servant of the Law”, and so resurrect him as it’s host [even if it’s not clear how much of the human personality is still awake].
The objective of The Voyager on Earth was to capture Nosferath, imprisoning it again and forever in it’s mystical prison, and also clean the planet from all the Meta-Impulse Infected People. For being sure to not fail, it carrie a cosmic time-bomb set to destroy the Earth in case of failure.
Anyway, after easly defeating and capture Nosferath, it sense some justice in Gemini members [which are all “Meta-Impulse Infected”], and value “against the Law and Justice” to destroy them, so it spare the team giving them the chance to use their powers for Justice.
Than it leave the Earth
Powers
The Voyager seem have some sort of Cosmic Power, able to travel in space and easly defeat powerful demonic entities such as Noferath. The exact nature and range of thier divine powers are unknown.
Notes
It’s not clear if the humanoid insect form The Voyager used in space was it true form or only that of it last host.
Also it’s not clear if it really resurrect in some form it’s current human host, or if it simply inhabit his dead body.
Alongside the Gemini team, The Voyager seem spare the life to villainous Mr. Illusion, another “Meta-Impulse Infected”, for some inesplicable reason [perhaps the villain flee from the scene off panel, but still The Voyager dosen’t pursuit him for accomplish it’s objective]
