When Marc Spector (Moon Knight) faked his death and fled to Mexico, he found himself involved with an evil land-baron. Arriving to enact his trademark brand of justice upon the man, Moon Knight found that the Mexican vigilante, Toltec, had already beaten him to the punch.

Toltec wears armour of Meso-American mythological design and wields two large, ornate swords.
