Origin
Badly Pate obviously got his name for his lack of hair is a crime boss who had a run in with the Terror. the Terror was trying to blackmail Pate into giving him half of his racket. This caused Baldy to get with Gerk Kreg as well as several other crime lords whom had all been threatened. As such they suspect each other and deal with their situations differently, but all wanting to get Terror and the Creeper whom they have been after already. the Creeper is the one that ends up taking the Terror down and the mob is left with just the Creeper to take out once again.

Baldy Pate was created by Steve Ditko in 1968. His first appearance being in Beware the Creeper 1.
