Backstory
Baran in his youth started by defending the world from dragons who wished to destroy the world. The dragons were so much of a threat to the world even lord Hadalar was able to be ignored. Baran later defeats the dragon but is badly wounded. As he is about to go to the lake of miracle he meets a girl who helps him get to the lake to heal. He later falls in love with the girl and they have a child. The daughter turns out to be royalty. It is later revealed to the king that his daughter is marrying a dragon knight. The king swiftly has him leave the country. His wife stops him from leaving. They run away together and live in a cabin in the forest. They are found by the king but instead of killing the humans, Baran surrenders because he promised to not kill another human. He is put to be executed but before he is his wife jumps in front of him. She dies telling Baran not to hate humans. In a rage, he destroys the entire country. He swears to wipe out all of humanity after this. He joins the dark army to accomplish this goal. However, he continues to search for his son but eventually gives up. Somewhere around this time, he finds the dragon knights. The dragon knights are said to be as strong as a Dark Legion Commander.

Baran eventually finds out that the hero named Dai has a dragon crest on his head. This causes him to immediately go to the dark fortress. He tells Hadalar that he will go find his son. He leaves and goes straight for Dai. After finding his son Dai who he reveals is actually named Dino he tries to persuade him to destroy all the humans in the world. After Dai refuses Baran faces him and Crocodile. He easily defeats him. After erasing Dai’s memories, he leaves and announces he will be back for his son. Baran returns with his dragon legion to Dai who still has lost his memories. After being stalemated by Crocodile he transforms into his Dragon battle form. He easily dispaces crocodiles. Dai comes out to meet Baran still with his memories gone. Baran tries to get Dai to come with him but after one of Dai’s friends used a suicidal attack Dai regains his memories. Dai and his father engage in a heated back and forth battle. This battle takes a lot out of Baran. Before leaving he reviews Dai’s friend using his dragon blood. He tells Dai they will meet again soon.
