After a Xenomorph got aboard Sevastopol in 2137, Marshal Waits and a group of fellow Colonial Marshals struggled to keep order aboard the station. Waits had begun marking deaths with red pins on a map of the station in the Colonial Marshal Bureau, and the map quickly became more and more red.

While trying to track the Xenomorph, one of Waits’ men, Ross, ran off from the group, not willing to take part in finding the killer beast. At some point, a sighting of the Xenomorph was reported near engineering. Waits, armed with a shotgun, brought the last of his men to investigate, but they only found two more people dead and a locked door, making the group more and more antsy. Waits’ men found their situation to be increasingly hopeless, especially since the people left on Sevastopol didn’t even recognize their authority anymore. Waits rallied his men though, reminding them that they couldn’t ignore their duty as Marshals, unless they wanted to run off like Ross.
One of the men then managed to open the locked door, only to find the Xenomorph waiting behind it and it immediately killed two of Waits’ men. Waits and his last man tried to force the Xenomorph back into the doorway and sealed the door, but it simply moved into the vents above them and dragged Waits’ last man up with it, raining blood down onto Waits. Waits then shouted at the beast to come back, asking, “What about me?”
Six hours later, Waits added pins for the three men to the map, adjusted his badge and then left, armed with his shotgun. Later, in habitation, Waits found Chuck the android, who had just killed a man. Chuck asked if he could “help” Waits and was about to warn him that he was trespassing, but Waits simply shot him, decapitating the synthetic. Waits then walked away, saying, “Damn androids.”
