Warrior Nun Dei

Origin

Nothing much is known about Dei’s origin, except that she volunteered for duty on the planet Sullen Dun and wanted to make a difference. Still believing in God, she often came into conflict with the head Magic Priest Olin Caedius.

On the planet Sullen Dun stands a fort called Hinterland, where Magic Priests and Warrior Nuns monitor demon activity and report back to Earth. After fellow Warrior Nuns are wrongly accused of murder, they are transported back to Earth. Now the last Warrior Nun present, Dei confronts Olin Caedius about the wrong accusations of her former teammates. Their discussion causes Olin to break into a fury in which he tells Dei God doesn’t exist and casts her out of Hinterland. She is immediately attacked by demons and taken back to the demon lair. In retaliation, Magic Priests attack the demon lair, take their leader Ramus and burn down the lair. Dei is left for dead inside the lair. She manages to escape however, and is taken back to Hinterland by Ramus’ former spy Futz. There she witnesses Olin Caedius, who has taken Ramus’ designs (as Ramus had planned) and cloned a new army of Magic Priests, taking a rocket ship back to Earth with the clones. Warrior Nun Dei puts on her space armor and follows the ship from a distance Hyperjumping in space, the rocket ships makes a bump, which releases the clones. The clones attack Olin Caedius who shoots them with his flamethrower. These clones have, unbeknownst to Olin Caedius, toxic skins. Because of their toxic skins, the ship explodes in space, killing Olin Caedius. Warrior Nun Dei is caught in the blast.

A research team concludes that, if Caedius would have managed to reach the Earth, the clones would have killed half the Earth’s population within two weeks. Caedius is deemed a traitor to the church.

On Earth, Dei receives the highest honor a Warrior Nun can receive. Her funeral speech is delivered by the the Pope himself.
